When I was growing up, the Bethany Beach area in Sussex County, Delaware was the family vacation spot. Years later, now with my own family, we visit Lancaster, Pennsylvania most often as our primary getaway trip . I used to live in southeast PA and spent most of my vacation time in southern Delaware.
